Matt Morrone joined the Youngstown
State athletic department in March
2008 as the Athletics Business
Manager.
Morrone previously worked on
campus as the assistant director for
facility and business operations for
the Campus Recreation and Student
Programming Department. During his
tenure, he assisted in overseeing
the construction phase of the
Andrews Wellness and Recreation
Center which opened in September
2005.
He was responsible for handling
equipment and supply purchases for
the new facility while in charge of
the operating budget for Campus
Recreation Department.
He is also the Business
Operations Manager for Morrone
Mechanical, Inc., in Lowellville. At
Morrone Mechanical he handles all
accounting duties for more than
eight years now.
Morrone is very active on
campus. He serves on the Budget
Information Committee, the Student
Conduct Board, and the Kilcawley
Renovation Committee.
A 2004 graduate of Youngstown
State, he earned his degree in
Accounting.
Matt and his wife, Molly, a
former YSU swimmer, reside in
Boardman. |
