The Youngstown State
baseball team also calls beautiful Cene Park in Struthers, Ohio, home. The Penguins, who last played home games at Cene Park in 1998,
returned to the venue in 2005 playing a portion of their home season
at the field. Prior to the 2005 campaign, the last YSU contest at
the facility was a May 3, 1998 doubleheader against Central
Connecticut State.
The facility features a brand-new scoreboard, covered
dugouts, concession stand, press box, tarp and batting cages.
The park is located just off of Routes 289 and 616 in
Struthers. It is the home facility for the Youngstown Class "B"
Baseball League.
