Tim Johnson was named to the AFCA
I-AA Coaches All-America first-team,
the American Football Coaches
Association announced on Tuesday.
Johnson (Fairfield, Ala.) recorded 180 tackles in his final
year as the Penguins finished the
season with a 9-3 mark. For his
two-year career he finished with 401
total tackles and 10 interceptions,
both school marks for a two-year
player. He was also a first-team
All-Gateway Conference selection.
