Football: Tim Johnson Named AP All-American

Tim Johnson picked up his second
first-team All-America award of the
week on Friday when he was named to
The Associated Press First-Team
All-American team, the AP announced.
Johnson, who was named to the AFCA I-AA Coaches
All-America first-team on Tuesday,
recorded 180 tackles in his final
year as the Penguins finished the
season with a 9-3 mark. For his
two-year career, the Fairfield,
Ala., native finished with 401 total
tackles and 10 interceptions, both
school marks for a two-year player.
He was also a first-team All-Gateway
Conference selection.
