Youngstown State Penguins begin a
long road trip just 40 minutes from
home when they travel to Kent, Ohio,
to play the Kent State Golden
Flashes on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 6
p.m. at Dix Stadium. This is the
first of three road games for
Youngstown State, and the Penguins
do not play at home again until Oct.
14. This trek -- three road games
and an off week -- is just the
fourth time in program’s 60-year
history that YSU has more than a
month between home games during a
