Football: Penguins Announce Award Winners for ISU Game
Youngstown -- Senior offensive tackle Will Sanders and
junior defensive tackle Nate Baston
earned YSU Offensive and Defensive
Player-of-the-Game honors for their
efforts against Illinois State.
Redshirt freshman kick returner
Jason Perry was named the team's
special teams player of the game.
Josh Davis was named the Offensive lineman of the game while
Justin Martin was named the
Defensive lineman of the game for
the second straight week.
Earning scout team honors were freshman offensive lineman
Ansel Fields (offense), freshman
nose tackle Leon Edwards (defense)
and freshman wide receiver Rory
Berry (special teams).
Kick returner/tailback Josh Cayson was named the Haines
Family Player of the Game. Cayson
finished with 184 yards on five
kickoff returns.
The Penguins travel to Northern Iowa to play the Panthers at
5:05 p.m. on Saturday. |
