Football: YSU Coaches Announce Liberty Award Winners
    Youngstown -- Sophomore tailback Josh Cayson (Offense), senior cornerback Waymann Peters (Defense) and junior placekicker Nick Terracina (Special Teams) were named YSU's top unit performers for their efforts in the 34-3 victory over Liberty on Saturday.
    Cayson rushed for a team-high 69 yards on 10 carries, Peters returned an interception for a touchdown and Terracina broke a school record by kicking a 56-yard field goal.
    Senior offensive guard Will Sanders was named the Jim Zdelar Offensive Lineman of the Game while sophomore defensive tackle Ron John-Finn was tabbed as the Jermaine Hopkins Big Mac Defensive Lineman of the Game.
    Sophomore tailback Justin Reams (offense), freshman linebacker Seth Job (defense) and freshman cornerback Rob Massucci (special teams) earned Scout Team Player-of-the-Week accolades.
    Junior linebacker Justin Martin earned the W.O.W./Derek Pixley Hit of the Week. Terracina also clamed the Haines Family Player of the Game award from the YSU radio broadcast team.
    YSU is back in action this Saturday when it opens Gateway play against SMS at Stambaugh Stadium.
