Football: Brad Samsa
Receives NEO Postgraduate
Scholarship
Cleveland, Ohio –
Former Youngstown State offensive
lineman Brad Samsa (Warren, Ohio)
was among 10 postgraduate
scholarship recipients from the
Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the
National Football Foundation, the
organization announced on Monday.
Samsa, an American Football Coaches
Association All-American in 2008,
was selected among a group of
candidates from 14 counties. He will
receive his scholarship at the
Chapter's 21st Annual
Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet on
Monday, May 11 at the LaCentre in
Westlake, Ohio.
Joining Samsa as scholarship
recipients are Tommy Brenner
(Ashland), Ben Chlebina (Case
Western), David Filippi (Kent
State), Eric Grinnell (Wooster),
Trevor Henderson (Hiram), Peter
Honsberger (John Carroll), Luke
Kolic (Walsh), Charles Yoder (Mount
Union) and Lee Yoder
(Baldwin-Wallace).
Individual tickets for the banquet
are $50 and tables of 10 are $500.
