High School: Was the starting quarterback as a junior and senior for the Bluejays...as a senior was an All-Detroit North Honorable Mention selection...served as a team captain...ran a spread offense, which used multiple receiver sets...for his career threw for more than 1,600 yards and ran for over 1,000 yards...threw 17 touchdown passes and had 11 rushing scores...was a two-time Oakland Activities Association Division II all-conference selection...as a junior was 65-of-123 for 1,021 yards and eight touchdowns...also ran for 623 yards and five scores...coach his senior year was Tim Conley...also played basketball.
