Saw action against Ohio State...suffered a knee injury in the spring that was reinjured against the Buckeyes...did not play the remainder of the season and was granted a medical redshirt...posted a 4.0 grade-point average in spring semester...

Named to Gateway Honor Roll.

 

2006: Started all 14 games at left tackle...played a team-best 677 snaps during the regular season...highest grade was 84 percent against Indiana State...had an 82 percent outing at Missouri State...in playoff win over JMU graded at 83 percent playing all 77 snaps...high during regular season was 75 plays at Illinois State...was a two-time YSU Offensive Linemen of the Game...named linemen of the game at Penn State and at Missouri State...earned his third letter.

 

2005: Played in eight games and made four starts on the offensive line...started at right guard against Illinois State, Indiana State, Western Illinois and UNI...also saw action against Slippery Rock, Northeastern, Liberty and Pittsburgh...earned his second letter.

2004:
Played in seven games and was in the starting lineup for four games...started at right tackle against Indiana State, Western Illinois and SMS...also started against Liberty when YSU opened in a three-tackle set...was one of five true freshmen to see action...joined teammate Josh Tanner as true freshmen to play on the offensive line...earned his first letter.

Was a Special Mention Division IV All-Ohio selection as a senior...was a first-team Division IV Eastern District selection as well...also was a second-team all-conference and first-team all-region pick...team finished with a 4-6 mark...as a senior was named his team’s best Offensive Lineman...as a junior, the Trojans were 7-3...coach was Dale Martini...was a heavyweight wrestler...qualified for the Division III State meet as a senior...placed second at sectionals as a senior...also was a district qualifier and placed third in sectionals as a junior...wrestling coach was John Hite.
