High School: Tabbed by Rivals.com as the 11th-best player in the state...honorable-mention Class 4A all-state selection...completed 62-of-117 passes for 842 yards...season-best 204 yards and 34 attempts against Cathedral in state playoffs...team posted a 6-4 mark..named team MVP...selected to play in the North/South All-Star Game by Central Indiana coaches...earned Roncalli’s Most Outstanding Senior Male Athlete Award...also earned Rebel Courage Award...as a junior, completed 102-of-161 passes (63.4 percent) for 1,572 yards and 18 touchdowns...ran for 351 yards on 58 attempts while scoring five touchdowns...Roncalli lost 28-27 in Class 4A State Championship game...threw a 64-yard touchdown pass in the title game...Rebels posted a 12-3 mark...also earned all-state, all-county and all-conference mention in 2005...school won state titles in 2003 and 2004...coach was Bruce Scifres...also a four-year standout in basketball...finished as Roncalli’s all-time leading scorer (1,127 points)...as a senior, scored a school record 454 points...set school mark with 62 3-pointers made and 106 free throws made...team set a school record with 20 wins...Rebels lost to Howe 71-63 in Class 3A Sectional 26 final posting 20-2 mark...scored 27 points in the game, making five 3-pointers...had a career-best and school-record-tying 38 points against Cathedral...made six 3-pointers and was 12-of-12 from the line...named to Associated Press and Indiana Basketball Coaches Association’s all-state honorable-mention...selected to the Indianapolis Star’s 2007 Basketball Super Team...named first-team All-Marion County...also tabbed All-South first team...was an academic all-state pick...averaged 16.9 points per game as a junior...was named the team MVP his junior year and co-MVP his senior year...also set school career records for most field goals (365), most 3-pointers made (149), 3-point field-goal percentage (48.4), free throws made (277) and attempted (380)...coach was Michael Wantz...has been a member of the honor roll every semester.
