the Division V State Championship with a 15-0 record...was the
school’s first state title...team defeated Marion Pleasant 44-27 in
the finals...as a junior was all-league and honorable-mention
all-state...three-year letterwinner...teammates were current
Penguins Jason Perry, Jamel Lee and John Foster...coach was Bill
Powers...also a two-time letterwinner in track and field competing
