HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior was an Honorable-Mention All-Narrows League selection...played two years as a running back...also returned kicks for the Trojans...set school record for all-purpose yards...scored 14 touchdowns...coach was Carrolton Cooper...a standout sprinter in track and field...part of state championship (Class 4A) 4x100-meter relay team.
