2008: Named the Missouri Valley Football Conference's Freshmen of the Year...named to the MVFC's All-Newcomer team...played in all 12 games, starting six...had four 100-yard rushing games...finished with a school freshmen record 804 yards on 136 carries...scored five touchdowns, four in conference play...averaged 5.9 yards per carry...rushed for 636 yards on 102 attempts in conference play...averaged 79.5 yards per contest...had five rushes of 25 yards or more, including a long of 61 against UNI...caught eight passes for 43 yards...posted a season-high 146 yards on 21 carries versus North Dakota State...had a season-high 23 attempts for 113 yards at Missouri State...had 15 rushes for 81 yards, including a long of 28, in home debut against Central State...had six carries for 16 yards versus Liberty...rushed 11 times for 71 yards and a 45-yard touchdown at Southern Utah...had 13 attempts for 68 yards, including a 38-yarder against Southern Illinois...rushed for 101 yards on just nine carries against UNI, including a 61-yard touchdown run...had 123 yards on 17 rushes in win over Indiana State...rushed for 85 yards on 19 attempts at Illinois State scoring twice...had TD runs of four and five yards...caught two passes against Southern Illinois and UNI...had a long reception of 11 yards against the Panthers...134 carries and all 804 yards came during a nine-game stretch...had just two carries the first two games and none in final contest at WIU...among freshmen in the FCS, ranked fifth in yards, touchdowns scored and second in yards per career...credited with 305 snaps played by the coaching staff, most among the tailbacks...had a high of 41 plays against Southern Illinois...also played 40 snaps at Missouri State...in seven contests played 29 or more snaps...named Hill Barth & King Offensive Player of the game against NDSU...received Derek Pixley Hit of the Game honor versus Missouri State...earned his first letter.

 

2007: Redshirted...scout team Offensive Player of the Week vs. Lock Haven and Southern Utah...scout team Special Teams Player of the Week vs. Stony Brook.

 

High School: Started at quarterback as a senior…was a strong safety and reserve quarterback as a junior…replaced Princeton defensive back Dan Kopolovich at quarterback...had 1,369 yards rushing in 11 games…rushed for 163 yards and scored three touchdowns in first start against North Hills…had 85 yards on 15 carries while competing four passes for 55 yards and a touchdown against Gateway…also returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown in the game…finished with 231 yards on 21 carries while scoring four touchdowns in win over Mt. Lebanon…had a season-high 239 yards on 11 carries and scored four touchdowns, including runs of 89 and 80 in WPIAL playoff win over Norwin…also threw a 65-yard touchdown pass in the contest…suffered 24-13 setback to Pittsburgh Central Catholic in WPIAL Quarterfinals…threw a 45-yard touchdown strike…team posted an 8-3 mark…selected to play in the Big 33 Pennsylvania vs. Ohio all-star game…as a junior, Tigers won the WPIAL Class-AAAA and PIAA titles and a 13-2 record…school’s first state title since 1994…intercepted two passes in the State Championship Game…is left-handed…one of five fastest players on the squad…coach was George Smith…also competed in track and field in the sprint events.
