2007: Played in all 11 games as a reserve in the secondary and member of special teams units...had 18 total tackles, inclulding 13 solo stops...had an interception and returned it 37 yards at Indiana State...season-high four tackles, including three solos against Stony Brook...had three stops at UNI...finished with two solo stops against Missouri State and Southern Illinois...had two total tackles against Lock Haven and Western Illinois...also had single stops against Ohio State, South Dakota State and Indiana State...one of six true freshmen to see playing time...played 147 snaps on special teams units...HBK Special Teams Player of the Game vs. Stony Brook and Indiana State...earned his first letter.

 

High School: First-team All-Central District selection as a defensive back...second-team All-Central District selection as a wide receiver...second-team all-metro pick as a defensive back...registered 63 tackles, six pass breakups, three fumble recoveries and two interceptions...caught 40 passes for 475 yards and seven touchdowns...junior year, Monarchs were 10-2 losing in overtime in the state playoffs...were AAA Division 6 Central Region finalists...had 47 tackles and five interceptions...all-district first-team selection...coach was Bill Bowles...also played basketball and competed in track and field.
