2007: Redshirted...named to Gateway Honor Roll.

 

High School: A versatile athlete, played four positions throughout high school career...as a senior was an honorable-mention Western Reserve Conference selection as a defensive back...team’s special teams player of the year as long snapper...senior year played quarterback and defensive back...had 1,000 all-purpose yards...recorded 42 tackles, including 31 solo stops...named Tigers’ special teams player of the year...as a junior played wide receiver and defensive back...caught 21 passes for 335 yards and four touchdowns...earned all-conference accolades...had three interceptions...four-year starter at long snapper...coach was Al Hodakievic...also played baseball and basketball...member of the honor roll...four-year member of Students Against Drunk Drivers.

Parents are Karen and Nick Schkurko...has a sister...born Sept. 28, 1989...Thomas F. Mosure Scholarship Recipient 2008-09...academic interest is mathematics.
