Set school career records for passing attempts (1,094), completions (654), touchdowns (51), yardage (7,643), 200-yard games (13) and completion percentage (59.8)...started 47 games at quarterback, including every game his final four years...averaged 161.0 yards passing per game...led YSU to 26 wins in his final three years...set school mark for total offensive yards (8,277) while ranking second in total offensive plays (1,326)...was responsible for 57 touchdowns in his career - third most in school history...his passing efficiency rating of 128.17 was fifth...one of just seven QBs in school history a 300-yard passing game.

2006: Honorable Mention All-Gateway and First-Team Academic All-Gateway...for the second straight year was named to the FCS Academic All-Star Team...started all 14 games at quarterback…completed 171-of-302 passes for 2,086 yards and 14 touchdowns…had a career year rushing the football...finished with 334 yards on 82 attempts and four touchdowns...averaged 4.1 yards a carry...best throwing game was a 24-of-40 contest which featured a career-high 314 yards against James Madison in the first round of the Football Championship Series playoffs...the 314 yards are the eighth most in a game in school history and most by a Guin since 1995...connected with seven different receivers against the Dukes...hit T.J. Peterson a school-record-tying 11 times, including a 30-yard strike...the 30-yard gain came on a 3rd-and-15 play from the YSU seven-yard line with just over four minutes remaining and YSU trailing 31-28...six-yard scoring toss and two-point conversion connection with Peterson cut deficit to 31-28 with 8:06 left...had 327 total offensive yards in the game, the seventh most in school history...best rushing game was 110-yard performance on 12 rushes at Illinois State...had a career-long 37-yard rush and scored on a one-yard run against the Redbirds...threw for five touchdowns in the first two games of the season…was 10-of-13 for 118 yards and two touchdowns in opener against Slippery Rock…connected with Rory Berry for a 20-yard score and Da’Michael Horne for a 21-yard touchdown…threw a season-high three touchdown passes and had 178 yards on a 12-of-21 effort against Maine…hit Peterson for touchdowns of 42 and 16 yards and Louis Irizarry for a seven-yard score…was 12-of-20 for 95 yards against Penn State…completed 12-of-22 passes for 181 yards and a 48-yard touchdown to fullback Demetrius Ison against UC Davis…was 8-of-14 for 150 yards and two touchdowns against Missouri State…hit Max King from nine yards out and Peterson for a 48-yard strike in the third quarter against the Bears…completed 13-of-21 passes for 130 yards at Western Illinois…threw for a 208 yards on a 17-of-30 effort against Northern Iowa…completed 9-of-17 passes for 93 yards at Illinois State…threw for 129 yards and a touchdown in a 13-for-19 day against Southern Illinois…hit Irizarry in the end zone from 18 yards out for the game tying score with 5:01 remaining in the fourth quarter…completed 7-of-17 passes for 83 yards against Western Kentucky…in playoff win over Illinois State was 11-of-21 for 146 yards...had a two-yard scoring run...entered the season with minus-11 yards rushing in his career, before running for 334 yards…had a 23-yard touchdown run against UC Davis…ran for 29 yards on nine attempts and scored from seven yards out against Southern Illinois…rushed for 44 yards on eight carries at Western Kentucky…had 28 yards on 10 carries against Appalachian State...had a 21-yard carry against the Mountaineers...completed 13-of-27 passes for 150 yards against ASU...had 2,420 yards of total offense for the year...that number ranked as the fifth most in a season in school history...was named the Hill, Barth & King Offensive Player of the Game against UC Davis and Illinois State…threw two interceptions in final five games (141 attempts)...in regular season participated in 658 plays (out of 717)...most were 75 at Illinois State...had 77 total plays against JMU...also named the Haines Family Player of the Game by the YSU radio broadcast crew at Illinois State and against James Madison...was the Wachovia Securities Leadership Award Winner against Illinois State...earned his third letter...Gateway Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award Recipient...Named to Gateway Honor Roll.

2004:
Named to the Gateway All-Newcomer Team...started all 11 games at quarterback...completed 154-of-255 passes for 1,822 yards...had 16 touchdowns while throwing just seven interceptions...finished with a completion percentage of 60.4...that number ranked third best in school history in a regular season...percentage rate was the highest for a freshman in school history...also set school freshman records for completions, attempts and tied the touchdown mark (Danny Klembara in 1968)...finished second in yardage, just 33 behind Klembara's mark...the 255 attempts were the most by a YSU quarterback since 1995 (Mark Brungard)...had three 200-yard plus passing games, the most in a regular season since Jeff Ryan in 1999...his yardage total was the most in a regular season since Ryan in 1999...averaged 165.6 yards passing per game ranking fifth in the Gateway...finished third in the league in completion percentage...averaged 11.8 yards per completion...had third-highest passer rating for a freshman quarterback in Division I-AA (fourth-best in all of Division I)...pass percentage was also third highest among freshman in Division I-AA (fourth in all of Division I)...was third in touchdown passes by a Division I-AA freshman (fourth in Division I)...also was third in passing yardage in Division I-AA for freshman (fifth in Division I)...ranked fourth in attempts by Division I-AA quarterbacks...set a school record by completing 15 consecutive passes at Western Kentucky in the fourth quarter...during that sequence his 15 passes went for 153 yards and six different receivers...had 195 yards while completing 18-of-23 passes in the fourth at WKU...for the game was 28-of-40 for 286 yards with two touchdowns...the 28 completions ranked as the third most in a game in school history...the 40 attempts were the most in a game since Brungard's 41 on Oct. 7, 1995...had four completions over 69 yards...against Slippery Rock, was 14-of-16 for 207 yards and a touchdown...threw a 72-yard scoring pass to Josh Cayson...was 17-of-32 for 168 yards and a touchdown versus Florida International...was 4-of-11 for 25 yards at McNeese State...against Liberty, completed 11-of-16 passes for 158 yards and a score...had a 53-yard touchdown completion to Matt Rycraft...completed 10-of-23 passes for 112 yards versus top-ranked Southern Illinois...was 16-of-22 for 155 yards and two scores against UNI...threw a 73-yard touchdown pass to Rycraft...completed 14-of-28 throws for 162 yards and two scores at Illinois State...was 12-of-19 for 140 yards and two scores against Indiana State...was 10-of-23 for 151 yards and a touchdown in leading YSU to its first at Western Illinois since 1982...completed 18-of-25 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns at SMS...had a 73-yard pass to Mike Roberts in the first quarter...connected with Shawn Carlson on a 69-yard score in the third...threw just two interceptions in the final five games (117 attempts)...best completion percentage was in the fourth quarter (68.2 on 45-of-66 passing)...most yards came in first quarter (584)...most touchdowns were in the third quarter (five)...credited with 55 rushes...scored his first career touchdown on a three-yard run against SRU...had a season-high 28 yards on four attempts against Indiana State...had a season-long run of 11 yards versus the Sycamores...had 13 yards on three carries against Liberty...finished with 1,802 yards of total offense...was the HBK Offensive Player of the Game against Northern Iowa...earned his first letter.

2003:
Granted a medical redshirted after suffering a broken collarbone in season opener against Edinboro...played a series against the Fighting Scots before getting injured...completed 2-of-3 passes for 26 yards, including a long of 14...also threw one interception...had a rush for six yards on the play he was injured...posted a 4.0 grade-point average in the fall and spring semesters.

High School:
Finished career at Boardman as the fifth all-time leading passer in school history...threw for 2,802 yards in his career...as a senior passed for 1,468 yards and 13 touchdowns...also ran for three scores...was a second-team All-Ohio Division I pick...was a first-team All-Steel Valley Conference and Northeast Ohio selection...had his season cut short when he suffered a broken collarbone against Austintown Fitch...as a junior, passed for 1,450 yards and 17 touchdowns...had two rushing scores...was an All-SVC and All-Northeast Ohio selection...coach was Garry Smith...played for the North Squad at the 58th annual Grange Insurance Ohio All-Star Classic at Crew Stadium in Columbus in June...was the North MVP in the game completing 8-of-17 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown...also played basketball and baseball for the Spartans...a standout baseball player... was first-team all-state third baseman as a junior with a .404 batting average, while scoring 30 runs and knocking in 36...led Boardman to a 24-4 mark as a junior...also a talented pitcher finished 6-1 with 41 strikeouts on the mound his junior year...named as one of the top 100 senior baseball players in Ohio...his senior year was an All-Steel Valley Conference selection as a third baseman batting .409 with 29 RBI and 24 runs scored...as a pitcher, struck out 32 in 40.1 innings pitched...Spartans were the district runners up with a 16-14 mark...coach was Scott Knox...was named the WYTV Male High School Student-Athlete of the Year...other notable Boardman quarterbacks were Jeff Ryan who played at YSU from 1998-2001 and Bernie Kosar who played at Miami (Fla.) and in the NFL...class Valedictorian...member of the Student Council and National Honor Society.
