Vince Antonucci

Second Season

Vince Antonucci is
in his second season on the Youngstown State coaching staff. Antonucci's role is
to help the defensive coaching staff during its game-week preparations while
working closely with the defensive front. He preps the scout team during the
week and assists in video scouting as well.
He joined the YSU program after working as a graduate student
assistant coach at Ohio State.
Antonucci, a native of Poland, helped coach the defensive
backs for the Buckeyes during the 2006 campaign. In 2006, Ohio State posted a
12-1 mark, won the Big Ten Conference title and played in the BCS National
Championship Game working under co-coordinators Jim Heacock and Luke Fickell and
defensive backs coach Tim Beckman.
While on the OSU staff, he worked with film breakdown and
weekly scouting reports, handled duties with the scout team and on gamedays
worked on the sidelines and in the press box.
A 2006 graduate of Ohio State, Antonucci has worked camps at
Miami (Ohio), OSU and Westminster.
Prior to attending college, he was a two-year letterwinner
for Poland. A 2002 graduate, he was a member of the school's 1999 Division III
State Championship team.
