Brian Jones
Student Assistant Coach
Second Season

    Brian Jones, a former three-year starting quarterback at Liberty, is in his second year member of the Youngstown State coaching staff as an undergraduate student assistant.
    He joined the Penguin coaching staff in 2007 working with the offensive staff on gamedays.
    In high school, Jones quarterbacked the Leopards to an 11-2 mark as a senior in 2005 before assisting the coaching staff in 2006 following his graduation.
    During his high school career he passed for more than 2,600 yards and had 28 touchdown tosses. He was a two-time All-Northeast Ohio, all-county and all-conference selection. Jones also played baseball and basketball.
    Currently enrolled in YSU's Nursing program and was a member of the Dean's List last year.
