2007-2008: Competed in five tournaments and saw action in 11 rounds…averaged 79.7 strokes per round…finished in 57th at the Irish Invitational...carded a 165 (81-84) at the event...shot a two round total of 157 (81-76) at the Adidas Hoosier Invitational...finished in 70th at the event...shot a 76 in the dual against Cleveland State...his season low round was 76, which he shot twice...in the fall finished 61st with a 234 (76-78-80) at the Bowling Green Invitational…his 76 was his lowest of the fall...was 61st at the Cleveland State Invitational with a 234 (7-82-84)...earned his second letter.

 

2006-07: Competed in five tournaments and 13 rounds for the year...averaged 79.4 strokes per round...lost score was a 72 which he accomplished twice...competed in two rounds in the spring...at the Fort Lauderdale Spring Classic was 40th with a 157 (80-77)...at the First Energy Intercollegiate was 95th as an individual with a 251 (78-87-86)...in collegiate debut was 55th at the Bowling Green John Piper Invitational with a 160 (81-79)...placed 50th at the John Dallio Memorial Tournament scoring a three-round 230 (72-82-76)...team's top finisher in the event...was 45th at the Rex Chaney MSU Eagle Classic with a 234 (80-82-72)...earned his first letter.

 

High School: As a senior, qualified for the Division II state meet as an individual...placed 54th in the event finishing with a 173 (84-89)...to earn his berth at State, he won the District title with an impressive round of 69...season averages as a sophomore and junior rank him in the top 15 in the school's history...posted the best scoring averages his final three years...was a first-team all-conference selection three times...was also a district runnerup as a junior...coach was Bob Banks...also played baseball.

Personal:
Parents are John and Christy Hamarik...father John played collegiately and was an All-American at Tennessee...he is the PGA Professional at Master Golf...born May 17, 1987...major is business marketing...recipient of the 2007-08 Dr. Anthony J. Candella Sr. Scholarship.
