Men's Golf: Penguins Finish Eighth At Greg Palmer Classic
Morehead, Ky. -- The Youngstown State men's golf team
finished eighth at the 11-team Greg Palmer Classic at the Eagle Trace Golf
Course which concluded on Tuesday afternoon. The Penguins had a three-round
score of 912 (310-305-306) for the meet.
IUPUI won the team title with an 870 while Samford was
second, Morehead State was third, Tennessee Tech finished fourth and Murray
State was fifth.
The top finisher for YSU was Nate Komsa who tied for 23rd
with a 226 (81-73-72). Josh Zarlenga (75-78-77) and Jim Powers (77-76-77) tied
for 36th with a 230. Ross Beal tied for 41st with a 231 (73-78-80) and Carmen
DiPenti placed 50th with a 236 (76-79-81).
