Men’s Golf: Penguins Continue Fall Season at the DePaul John Dallio
Memorial Tournament

Ill. -- The
Youngstown State men's golf team
continued their fall campaign
carding a three-round score of 927
at the DePaul John Dallio Memorial
Tournament, which concluded on
Tuesday at Prairie Landing Golf
Club.
The Penguins placed 14th at the
invitational after starting strong
by having the eighth-best score
after 18 holes. YSU had rounds of
301, 314 and 312 to finish with its
927. Northern Iowa won the event
with an 866 while South Dakota State
was second and DePaul and Southern
Illinois tied for third.
YSU used a young lineup at
the tournament competing with three
freshmen, a sophomore and a junior.
Leading the
way was freshman Jon Hamarik who
placed 50th with a three-round 230
(72-82-76). Junior Ryan McGraw was
54th with a 234 (74-76-78),
sophomore Ryan Stocke placed 57th
carding a 235 (79-77-79), freshman
Tim Morrow was 64th with a 237
(81-75-81) and freshman Eric
Augustus placed 70th with a 242
(73-89-80).
Youngstown
State is next in action on Oct. 9-10
at the Rex Chaney Morehead State
Eagle Classic.
