Men’s Golf:
Stocke in Second, Penguins in Third
At Detroit Invitational
Plymouth,
Mich.
- After completing the second round
of three, Junior Ryan Stocke is tied
for second and the Penguins are tied
for third of the Detroit
Invitational.
As a team YSU’s total after round two is a 602 (305-297) tied
with Dayton and Cleveland State. YSU
only trails only Detroit and Loyola
(Md.) for the top spot.
Leading the way for the Penguins is junior Ryan Stocke who
carded a two round total of 145
(72-73). In 13th place is senior
Ross Beal whose two round total is
152 (76-76).
Also participating in the Invite is freshman Spenser
Sulzner 80-74 (154) who is in
22nd. Firing a 158 (84-74) was
sophomore Tim Morrow who is
currently in 33rd. Only one stroke
behind Morrow in 36th
place is freshman Michael Turner
with a 159 (77-82).
The Penguins will wrap up the event on Saturday.
