Men’s Golf: Men's Golfers Tie for Eighth At John Dallio Memorial
Tournament

Senior Ross Beal produced a
fourth-place individual finish while
the Youngstown State men's golf team
finished eighth at the 13-team John
Dallio Memorial Tournament hosted by
DePaul at the Ruffled Feathers Golf
Course in Chicago.
After Monday's two rounds, the
Penguins were 10th, but they were
able to creep up to eighth during
Tuesday's final round. For the
tournament, YSU carded a team score
of 914 tying Dayton for eighth. The
Guins had a 303 on Tuesday after
firing a 311 and 300 on Monday.
Detroit won the event with an 880.
Beal finished with a three-round
total of 219 with rounds of 74, 71
and 74 to earn a fourth-place
finish. Sophomore Tim Morrow placed
27th with a 229 (76-78-75), junior
Ryan Stocke was 41st carding a 232
(80-74-78), junior Mitch Levengood
was 49th competing his first event
for the Penguins with a 234
(81-77-76) and freshman Spencer
Sulzner was 63rd with a 241
(83-80-78).
Youngstown State returns to the links next Monday at the IPFW
Fall Classic in Fort Wayne, Ind.
