Men’s Golf: Men Finish Ninth at Kent State Invitational

The
Youngstown State men's golf team
placed ninth at the 12-team Kent
State Invitational during Saturday's
36-hole action at Windmill Lakes
Golf Club on Saturday.
The Penguins, who will be competing
at the Horizon League Championships
on Monday and Tuesday, carded rounds
of 383 and 373 to finish with a 756.
Kent State, which is ranked 35th in
the nation, won the event with a
712.
Leading the way for the Penguins was
sophomore Tim Morrow. Morrow tied
for 13th place with a 145 (74-71).
Freshman Michael Turner tied for
37th with a 150 (75-75), freshman
Spenser Sulzener was 53rd with a 153
(78-75), senior Ross Beal placed
58th firing a 155 (77-77), junior
Ryan Stocke was 65th with a 156
(81-75) and senior Ryan McGraw was
67th with a 157 (79-78).
