West Lafayette, Ohio -- Youngstown State senior golfer Ryan Stocke (Elida, Ohio) was one of five golfers to tie for first at the 45th Annual Mid-Ohio Invitational over the weekend at Hickory Flat Greene Golf Course. However, Stocke did not earn medalist honors competing among the strong field falling in the five-way playoff.

    Stocke, who redshirted in 2008-09, carded rounds of 67 on Saturday and 71 on Sunday, good enough for a six-under 138.
    The Mid-Ohio Invite is a 36-hole amateur medal play event sponsored by the Mid-Ohio Golf Association.The event, which is by invitation only, is open to amateur golfers of all ages, and is not limited to residents of Ohio.
