Men's Golf Finishes 10th at Bearcats Invitational; Stocke 15th
Hebron, Ky. -- The Youngstown State men's golf team improved from a tough first round to finish in 10th at the 54-hole Bearcats Invitational at Traditions Golf Club on Tuesday.
The Penguins as a team carded a three-round total of 910 (308-299-303). Senior Ryan Stocke was the top-finisher for the Penguins as he tied for 15th after firing a 224 (78-73-73).
Senior Tim Morrow finished tied for 25th with a score of 227 (74-76-77). Sophomore Anthony Conn was one stroke behind with a 228 (75-75-78), finishing tied for 32nd.
In 45th was sophomore Joe Santisi, who carded a 231 (81-75-75). Junior Spenser Sulzener rounded out the event for the Penguins with a 241 (83-78-80) to finish in 75th.
Miami (Ohio), Ball State and host Cincinnati finished one, two, three at the event.
The Penguins will wrap up their fall season next week when they travel to Kettering to compete in the Dayton Fall Invitational on Monday. The event is three rounds and will conclude on Tuesday.
