Women's Golf: Abruzzino Places 11th at EKU Fall Invitational
    Richmond, Ky. -- YSU women's golf senior Gina Abruzzino finished 11th at the Eastern Kentucky Fall Invitational which concluded on Saturday at the Arlington Golf Course. Abruzzino finished with a three-round score of 234, nine shots behind the invitational winner.
    As a team, the Penguins placed eighth out of 11 competing groups. The tournament was won by Kentucky's Junior Varsity squad which finished with a 916. YSU had rounds of 325, 329 and 323 to card a total of 977. Eastern Kentucky placed second while Ohio was third.
    Abruzzino had rounds of 77, 78 and 79 to finish with her 234. Kentucky's Erin Faulkner won the event with a 225.
    Other finishers for the Penguins include: Mallory Wyderka who placed 37th with a 245 (85-81-79), Brittany Jones who finished 43rd with a 249 (84-86-79), Kristen Albrecht who placed 46th with a 253 (79-88-86) and Felicia Ciotola who finished 54th with a 262 (91-84-87).
