Jones rebounded following a windy and cold first day to fire a 79 on Tuesday as temperatures reached the mid-50s. On Monday, she had rounds of 89 and 97 battling temperatures in the 30's and winds of 15-20 mph. For the tournament she had a team-low 265.
    Cincinnati's Hillery Wilson won the three-round event with a 235. Toledo took home the team crown with a 1,000. YSU placed 10th with a 1,059 (359-366-334).

    Other team finishers for the Penguins were junior Adrianna DiLonardo who was 39th with a 266 (92-86-88), senior Bonnie Sherman (93-90-84) and junior Felicia Ciotola (88-94-85) who tied for 42nd at 267, freshman Brittany Stillwagon who placed 52nd with a 274 (90-96-88) and sophomore Mollie Boney who was 61st following a 287 (96-105-86).

    Individual finishers for the Guins were Ann Ciavarella who was 59th with a 285 (98-99-88) and Amanda Brindley who competed in the first two rounds only.

    This was the final action for the Guins before the Horizon League Championships, which are set for April 30-May 1 at Lebanon, Ohio.
