Women’s Golf:
Penguins Claim Fourth-Place Finish
at Dayton Fall Invitational

The Youngstown State women’s golf
team concluded fall competition with
a fourth-place finish at the
10-team Dayton Fall Invitational.
The 36-hole tournament wrapped up on
Tuesday at the NCR Country Club’s
South Course.
Leading the way for the Penguins was
freshman Katie Rogner who finished
seventh. Rogner had two rounds of 80
to finish with a 160 and earn her
fourth top-10 finish of the fall.
As a team, YSU carded a two-round
654 to finish behind Oakland (628),
Dayton (638) and Detroit (653). The
Penguins had a solid 324 on Tuesday
after carding a 330 on Monday.
Other finishers for Youngstown State
included senior Felicia Ciotola who
was 16th with a 164 (81-83), senior
Brittany Jones who finished 21st
with a 166 (84-82), senior Adrianna
DiLonardo who placed 26th firing a
168 (85-83) and junior Mollie Boney
who was 38th with a 174 (95-79).
