Places Seventh, Rogner 12th at IPFW

The Youngstown State women’s golf
team finished seventh at the IPFW
Fall Classic with concluded on
Tuesday at Deer Track Golf Course.
The Penguins placed three golfers in
the top 20. Leading the way was
freshman Katie Rogner who was 12th,
while senior Brittany Jones was 13th
and senior Adrianna DiLonardo was
18th.
Youngstown State finished with a
team score of 636 following rounds
of 314 and 322. Butler won the event
with a 608 while IUPUI was second
with a 616.
Rogner finished with a two-round
total of 154 after carding a pair of
77’s. Jones had rounds of 78 and 77
to finish one shot back with a 155
and tie for 13th place. DiLonardo,
who was competing as an individual,
finished 18th with a 157 following
rounds of 78 and 79.
Other finishers for the Penguins
included junior Mollie Boney who was
40th with a 163 (81-82), sophomore
Brittany Stillwagon who was 57th
with a 169 (83-86) and senior
Felicia Ciotola who placed 59th with
a 170 (78-92). Sophomore Amanda
Brindley was 57th with a 169 (85-84)
competing as an individual.
YSU wraps up fall competition at the
Dayton Fall Invitational (Oct.
29-30).
