Women’s Golf: Four
Penguins in the Top Five as YSU
Leads At Loyola Caputo Invitational
Mundelein, Ill. – The
Youngstown State women’s golf team
is in first place by one stroke
after the first round of the Loyola
Caputo Invitational at Pine Meadows
Golf Course.
Freshman Katie Rogner is atop the leader board
after carding a first round total of
76. Two spots back in third place
is senior Brittany Jones who fired
an 80. Both sophomore Brittany
Stillwagon and junior Mollie Boney
finished round one with an 81.
Boney is competing in the event as
an individual.
Also competing for the Penguins is senior Felicia Ciotola who
is 20th after a round of 88 and
senior Adrianna DiLonardo is in 26th
place after shooting a 90.
The Guins hold a one stroke lead over Horizon League member
Loyola who is in second, followed by
Detroit, IPFW, and Wisconsin-Green
Bay. Round two will get underway
Tuesday at 10 a.m. Eastern time.
