Women's Golf: Katie Rogner Places 12th at North-South Collegiate
Jacksonville, Fla. -- Freshman Katie Rogner placed
12th and junior Mollie Boney tied
for 49th place at the North/South
Women's Collegiate Invitational
hosted by Butler at Jacksonville
Beach Golf Course.
Rogner had rounds of 76 and 80 to
finish with a 156 while Boney carded
scores of 89 and 84 to fire a 173.
Those were the only two Penguins to
participate in the event because of
travel difficulties.
Evansville won the team title while Bethune-Cookman's
Kimberly Wong was the medalist with
a 146.
YSU resumes action on Sunday, March
30 when they compete at the
Cincinnati Invitational.
