Men's Basketball Anthony Saccoccia is serving his third season as the head manager for the Penguins. Saccoccia, a native of Steubenville, Ohio, joined the YSU program in 2004-05.
    Saccoccia helps Coach Jerry Slocum and his assistants in a variety of duties before, during and after practices and on gamedays.
    A tireless worker and growing basketball mind, Saccoccia worked camps at YSU, Wake Forest, Notre Dame and Memphis in the summer of 2006.
    A 2002 graduate of Steubenville High School, he is majoring in Special Education at Youngstown State. Saccoccia was a three-year letterwinner in both football and basketball for the Big Red and he lettered twice in baseball.
    He is the son of Raymond Saccoccia and Karen Beattie.
