Soccer: Roseman, Tait Named Captains
Youngstown, Ohio –In
a vote by their teammates,
Youngstown State juniors Lauren
Roseman and Jessica Tait have been
named team captains of the Penguin
women’s soccer team, Head Coach Liz
Bartley announced on Tuesday.
“I am very pleased with the team’s decision to elect
Lauren (Roseman) and Jessica (Tait)
as our team captains this season,”
Bartley said. “Both own an
exceptional work ethic both on the
field and in the classroom and show
great leadership by example.”
Roseman, a native
of Tucson, Ariz., is a two-year
starter and has played in 31
straight matches, including 28
consecutive starts. Tait, who hails
from North Canton, Ohio, missed much
of last season due to injury but is
one of the team’s top offensive
threats.

2001 season against Akron, Aug. 31,
