Women's Soccer:
Penguins Fall to Loyola, 3-0
Chicago, Ill. -- The Youngstown
State soccer team dropped their
match to Loyola (Chicago) on
Saturday afternoon, 3-0.
Katie Koning scored two goals in the first half to
help lead the Ramblers to victory.
Rachel Radcliffe would also add a
goal in the first half off an assist
from Regina Nierzwicki.
The Ramblers outshot the Penguins 18-3 and
outcornered YSU 5-2. Senior
goalkeeper Christine Handte
collected 10 saves for Youngstown
State.
The Penguins are now 1-17 on the season and 0-5 in the
Horizon League. |
