Soccer: Penguins Lose 7-1 at UW-Green Bay

Wis. --
UW-Green Bay’s Angie Baratto scored three goals to
help lead the Phoenix to a 7-1
victory over
the Youngstown State soccer team on Tuesday night.
Barratto scored her first goal three minutes into the
game off an assist from Lynn
Goetzinger and added two more goals
in the second half. Krisitin Lau
also scored two goals for the
Phoenix. YSU’s Kara White scored the
Penguins’ only goal at 84:44. Senior
goalkeeper Christine Handte
collected 13 saves for Youngstown
State. The Phoenix outshot the
Penguins 30-7 and outcornered YSU
4-3. UWGB improves to 2-9-0 overall
and 1-2-0 in the Horizon League. YSU
is 1-12-0 and 0-3 in the Horizon
League. |
