Soccer: Penguins Fall to Duquesne, 5-0
Pittsburgh, Pa. --
The Youngstown State women's soccer
team dropped a 5-0 decision to
Duquesne University on Saturday
afternoon at Rooney Field.
Duquesne scored all five goals in the first period. The
Dukes outshot the Penguins 24-4 and
outcornered the YSU 9-1.
Freshman keeper Caitlin Bestard
recorded 11 saves.
With the loss Youngstown State falls to 1-6. Duquesne
improves to 4-4 on the season.
The Penguins return to action Friday, Sept. 27 when they play
at Oakland University at 4 p.m. |
