Soccer: Loyola Rambles Past Penguins, 6-0
Chicago, Ill. - The
Youngstown State Women's Soccer team
dropped to 0-5 in the Horizon League
after losing a league match to
Loyola (Chicago), 6-0, on Friday
night at Loyola Soccer Park.
Six different players scored goals for Loyola, scoring one
goal each. The Ramblers
outshot the Penguins 39-1 and
outcornered Youngstown State 14-0.
Freshman Caitlin Bestard recorded 14
saves for the Penguins. With
the loss, YSU falls to 1-17 on the
season. Loyola improves to
5-8-3, 1-2-2 in the Horizon with the
win.
The Penguins return to action on Sunday, Nov. 3, when they
play at Butler at 1 p.m. |
