Soccer: YSU Falls to Oakland, 8-0

Kristi Swaving and Debbie Cartmel
scored two goals each to lead the
Grizzles to an 8-0 victory over the
Youngstown State Women's Soccer team
on Friday afternoon at the OU Soccer
Field.
The Grizzles outshot the Penguins 41-0 and outcornered YSU
11-0. Freshman keeper Caitlin
Bestard recorded six saves for
Youngstown State.
With the loss the Penguins fall to 1-7 on the
season. Oakland improves their
record to 3-6.
Youngstown State returns to league action on Sunday, Sept.
29, when they travel to Dayton to
take on Wright State at 3 p.m. |
