Penguins Suffer Loss to Wright State, 5-0
    Dayton, Ohio
-- Five different players scored for Wright State to help lead the Raiders to a 5-0 victory over the Youngstown State soccer team in a conference match on Tuesday night at Alumni Field.
    The Raiders offense caught fire as they scored four goals in the first half. Jodie Shoaf started the flame when she scored in the 10th minute off a pass from Desire Morris.  Four minutes later, Carlin Lucente scored from 10 yards out. Megan Mattioda gave the Raiders a 3-0 lead when she connected on a header in the 23rd minute.  In the 35th minute, Blair Komenski closed out the first half scoring when she headed in a free kick. Wright State added its final goal of the game in the second half in the 84th minute.
    The Raiders defense held YSU to only two shots in the first half and five in the second.  Senior keeper Mia Railing collected 10 saves for YSU.   
    With the loss, YSU falls to 0-9-1 overall and 0-3 in the Horizon League.  Wright State improves to 6-4.
    The Penguins are next in action on Friday when they play host to UW-Green Bay at 4 p.m. at Stambaugh Stadium.
