Four Penguins Honored with Team Awards
Youngstown

Sadie Brookman, Jessica Yarter,
Diane Fellabaum and Caitlin Lee
received special recognition from
head coach Anthony James for their
efforts on the YSU soccer team.
Brookman and Yarter, both seniors, shared the honors of
Co-MVP. Brookman ranked second on
the team for most goals as well
as most shots on goal. Yarter
finished her first season as goalie
with a 1.89 goals-against average
and recorded 100 saves for the
season.
Lee, a freshman who was also chosen for the Horizon League
All-Newcomer Team, was named
Defensive Player of the Year for the
Penguins. She started all 19 games
this season and is credited with one
assist against Robert Morris.
Fellabaum, also a senior, was chosen as
Penguin of the Year for her
commitment to the team on the field
as well as her academic improvement
off the field.
