Receives NSCAA Team Academic Award
Mission, Kan.--The
Youngstown State Soccer team and six
other Horizon League teams were
honored by the NSCAA for their
academic achievements during the
season.
All teams receiving
the award maintained a GPA of 3.0 or
higher for the academic year with
all players on the roster added into
the final calculation. Under the
guidance of Head Coach Anthony James
and academic advisor Susan Carfolo
the team posted an overall 3.09 GPA.
Forward Jodi Bowlen had the highest
overall GPA maintaining a perfect
4.0. Defender Keeley Rice
contributed to the award with her
3.90 while Britta Snowberger posted
a 3.86. Carrie Wack achieved the
fourth highest GPA of the team with
a cumulative 3,80.
