Klonowski Named to All-Horizon
League Second-Team

sophomore Kim Klonowski was named to
the All-Horizon League Second-Team
in a vote by the league's head
coaches, the Horizon League
announced Wednesday evening at the
League's Softball Postseason Awards
Banquet.
Klonowski led the
Penguins with a .329 overall batting
average, eight home runs and 31 runs
batted in. She also recorded nine
double and posted a .542 slugging
percentage.
Against Horizon
League opponents, Klonowski batted
.351 with three doubles, six home
runs and 15 runs batted in.
Klonowski is the
first YSU sophomore since 2004
(Kelly Murphy and Tiffany Patteson)
to earn all-league honors.
The eighth-seeded
Penguins will face fifth-seeded
Butler on Thursday, May 7, at 11
a.m. in Pendleton, Ind. |
