YSU Softball Swept By Saint Francis (Pa.), 2-1, 9-1
Loretto, Pa. -- Youngstown State freshman Jordan Ingalls went
5-for-6 on the day and junior Cheryl Cale scattered seven hits in game
one but the Youngstown State softball team dropped a pair of games to
Saint Francis (Pa.), 2-1, 9-1, on Thursday afternoon.
The Penguins fall to 7-33 overall.
In the opener, Ingalls went 3-for-3 with a solo home run while
Autumn Grove, Amanda Palmore and Allyse Ledford each recorded singles.
In game two, Ingalls went 2-for-3 and freshman Kristen Philen
produced a run-scoring single.
Youngstown State visits Butler, April 25-26, in Indianapolis, Ind. |
