Tennessee-Martin (3/14)... Struck out five and scattered 11 hits in a
6-5 victory over Pittsburgh (3/11)... Tossed six innings of scoreless
relief in a 3-1 win over Akron, allowing just four hits and striking out
two (5/5).
2004 Freshman Season
Named to the 2004 Horizon League All-Newcomer Team... Made 23
appearances and 15 starts while tossing 12 complete games and three
shutouts... Finished second on the team with a record of 9-8 and a 1.88
earned-run average... Fired 79 strikeouts, which is the sixth-highest
single-season total in school history, and allowed just 34 walks in
119.1 innings pitched... Also collected two saves... Tossed a complete
game five-hitter with a career-best 11 strikeouts in a 3-0 loss to
Kentucky in her collegiate debut (2/28)... Allowed just one earned run
against the Wildcats... Fired a one-hitter in a complete-game shutout
against Yale (3/8) while striking out five to pick up her first
collegiate victory... Struck out 10 in a 4-0 five-hit shutout over
Quinnipiac (3/12)... Scattered six hits and allowed just one run in a
6-1 win over Kent State (4/6).
