Softball Inks Four Recruits During Early Signing Period |

Youngstown -- The Youngstown State softball program
has signed four recruits to National Letters of Intent during the early signing
period to join the program for the 2011 season, YSU Head Coach Brian Campbell
announced on Tuesday (Nov. 17.
Joining the Penguins are pitcher Casey Crozier (Valparaiso,
Ind.), designated player Sarah Ingalls (McDonald, Ohio), utility player Haley
Knight (Garrettsville, Ohio) and shortstop/pitcher Samantha Snodgrass (South

Youngstown -- In a vote by their teammates, junior
pitcher Danielle Chase and junior infielder Kim Klonowski have been selected as
the team captains for the 2010 softball season, Youngstown State Head Coach
Brian Campbell announced on Tuesday.
In academic news, Youngstown State ranked 87th in Division I
with a 3.100 team grade-point average and three players earned spots on the NFCA/Girls

Youngstown State softball hitting
clinic scheduled for Sunday, Oct.
11, has been cancelled. The Penguins
will still hold clinics on Nov. 1,
Nov. 8 and Nov. 15. For more

| Softball to Hold Fall Hitting Clinics in
November |

Youngstown -- The Youngstown State softball program
will hold four hitting clinics this fall for students from grades 8th-12th in
November, Head Coach Brian Campbell announced.
The clinics will be on Sunday, Nov. 1,
Sunday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 15. All sessions will held at Sluggers Indoor
Baseball and Softball Complex in Poland, Ohio. Cost per session is $40.

| Softball Completes Two Community Service Projects |

Youngstown -- The Youngstown State softball program
completed recently two community service projects, Head Coach Brian Campbell
announced.
The Penguins participated in The Butterchurn at Park Vista
Retirement Home in Youngstown, Ohio. The Guins also hosted a free softball clinic at McCune Park
in Canfield, Ohio. More than 100 participants braved the elements to take part
in the clinic. Release |
