Goettsch Named League Diver of the Week
Indianapolis, Ind. -- Senior
diver Brandi Goettsch was named the
Horizon League Women’s Swimming and
Diving Athlete of the Week, the
league announced Wednesday.
Last week Goettsch qualified for the NCAA Zone C
Diving Championships in both the
one-meter and three-meter events for
the fourth consecutive year.
In a win over Clarion, Goettsch recorded a
second-place qualifying score of
468.50 in the one-meter dive.
Against Akron, Goettsch qualified in
the three-meter with a second-place
score of 278.10. Also against
Akron, Goettsch earned a first-place
score of 253.30 in the one-meter. |
