Goettsch Places 20th in Zone C One-Meter
West Lafayette, Ind. -- Youngstown State senior
diver Brandi Goettsch finished 20th
in the one-meter diving competition
at the NCAA Region C Diving Zones at
Purdue University on Friday.
Goettsch scored a 228.45 to place
20th while Purdue's Kara
Hajek-Gustafson won the competition
with a score of 291.65. The top
seven divers qualified for the NCAA
Championships that are in Austin,
Texas, March 21-23.
Also for the Penguins, junior Amanda Smail finished
32nd with a 201.75 while freshman
Kalyn LeVeto was 33rd with a 199.75
in the one meters. |
