YSU Places 12th at Zippy Invitational
Akron, Ohio – The
Youngstown State University swimming
and diving team placed 12th out of
15 competing teams at the Zippy
Invitational, which wrapped up on
Sunday.
Junior Mandie Smail placed fifth in the one-meter
dive event with a score of 212.
Freshman Kalyn Leveto marked a score
of 209 and placed seventh overall.
In the 200-yard medley relay, junior Molly
McAtee, freshman Jordan Dunn,
freshman Erin Carter and junior Lena
Arens, the YSU ‘A’ team placed 22nd
with a time of 1:59.58. Also
placing 22nd was the 200-yard
freestyle relay, freshman Missy
Wiese, freshman Jordan Dunn, junior
Lena Arens and freshman Erin Carter,
with a time of 1:45.04.
Freshman Michele Von Duhn placed 26th in the
1650-yard freestyle, 19:37, while
freshman Erika Gregos placed 28th,
